Strategy & Workshop Facilitation
I facilitate workshops that help teams get to the heart of an issue, hear different perspectives and agree what to do next. I guide the discussion so you and everyone on your team can take part.
Trusted by multinational organisations, public bodies, healthcare, education, charities and growing businesses.
When facilitation can help
Facilitation can be particularly valuable when:
- Your business is growing. Decisions once made informally now need wider discussion and agreement.
- You're reviewing your strategy. You need to agree what matters most, where to focus and what can wait.
- You're leading through change. People need an opportunity to raise concerns, understand different perspectives and agree how to move forward.
- An issue keeps coming back. It's time to get to the heart of the problem and agree what needs to change.
When teams work towards different priorities, they duplicate work, revisit decisions and lose time.
You can see the value of alignment in the decisions people make every day. When everyone knows what matters most and who's responsible for what, they can get on with the work without having to keep checking what was agreed. As people follow through on those commitments, trust grows.
What we can work through together
From setting direction to working through difficult decisions, I facilitate the conversations your team needs to have.
Strategy days
Agree what matters most, where to focus your time and resources, and what can wait.
Difficult decisions
Get the options on the table, weigh them up together and agree on a way forward.
Leading through change
Raise concerns early, clarify what's expected and agree how you'll work together.
Improve how work gets done
Review the systems and processes your team relies on. Identify where work gets held up or pressure builds, then agree what to change and how to put it into practice.
Organisational values
Define or review what you stand for as an organisation. Agree how your values should guide the decisions you make and the way you work together.

Bring the real issues into the room
Sometimes the most important conversation happens in the corridor before or after.
People nod along in the meeting, then raise the concerns that could have changed the decision once it's over.
People don't all reach their best thinking in the same way. Some work through ideas out loud; others need time to reflect. Without room for both, useful questions may go unasked and important concerns unheard.
A well-facilitated discussion makes those contributions possible. People have the opportunity to test ideas, raise difficult questions and disagree respectfully, while the conversation stays focused on what needs to be resolved.
Different perspectives can reveal a risk the group hasn't seen, challenge an assumption or open up a better option. Rather than rushing to agreement or letting the discussion go in circles, the group can work through those differences, find common ground and agree on a clear way forward.
Built around your outcome
Every organisation and every challenge is different. The workshop is shaped around what you need to achieve, the people involved and the decisions that need to be made.
Over 14 years leading humanitarian operations across four continents, I worked with people of different backgrounds, responsibilities and priorities to make decisions under pressure. That experience shapes how I facilitate discussions, work through differences and help teams agree on a practical way forward.
Define the purpose
We agree why you're bringing people together, who needs to be there and what you want to achieve.
Shape and facilitate the session
We agree an agenda that fits what you want to achieve. I guide the session, balancing time for key information, reflection, group work and open discussion so people can ask questions and hear different perspectives.
Agree next steps
Before we close, we capture what's been agreed, who will do what and by when, and what still needs a decision.
Let's talk about what you'd like to achieve.
